Conceptual Design & Specification Review: We work closely with your engineering teams to translate project requirements into detailed panel designs. This includes reviewing single-line diagrams, three-line diagrams, schematics, wiring diagrams, and functional specifications. Our engineers optimize internal panel layouts for efficient wiring, accessibility for maintenance, proper heat dissipation, and future expandability. We specify appropriate NEMA or IP-rated enclosures for environmental protection and our designs incorporate best practices for arc flash mitigation and overall operational safety, adhering to relevant safety standards.

Firefly ensures accurate cutting, drilling, and punching of enclosures for component mounting, cable entry, and ventilation, and our skilled technicians meticulously mount all components and execute precise wiring according to approved schematics and industry best practices. We utilize advanced tooling for consistent crimping, termination, and labeling, and ensure organized and logical routing of internal wiring for neatness, maintainability, and signal integrity.

Firefly ensures rigorous verification of all wiring for correct connections and continuity, ensuring circuit integrity. We also maintain our standards through meticulous testing, including Functional Testing (FAT - Factory Acceptance Testing, Insulation Resistance (Megger) Testing, and Hi-Pot Testing (Dielectric Withstand Testing. Firefly also welcomes and facilitates client-witnesses testing, and completes thorough visual inspection for quality of workmanship, component placement, labeling accuracy, and adherence to design specifications.
